Our Story

From a Failed Tech Idea to Accidental Travelwear

I didn't mean to start a clothing brand.

I originally bought the domain name looknomad.com with one goal in mind: to build a hotel finder app for digital nomads. But there was a minor problem—I’m a working-class guy who loves traveling, but I was terrible at it.

Backpacking across Australia, Asia, Europe, and America, I lived out of a single bag. Traditional fashion was useless—everything creased into a mess within five minutes of packing. I constantly ended up wearing cheap, mismatched gym gear just to get by. But whenever I wanted to grab a drink in a hostel bar, head out for food, or explore a new city, I felt totally underdressed.

I didn't have a fashion degree, and I didn't care about catwalks or high prices. So I scrapped the tech app and decided to build what I actually needed: clean, minimalist, easy-to-pack apparel for real travelers.

LookNomad is built for anyone who wants to pack light, throw on a clean hoodie or tee straight out of a backpack, and look good without trying too hard.
